OUTSTANDING! Congratulations, and job well done on the web site update. I check back from time to time and was pleasantly surprised at how 'fresh' the site looks. The photo section is especially enjoyable and brought back some great memories. Keep up the good work and let's keep those memories of a wonderful school, and time, alive.

I regret that I only attended PMA for 1 year - and that was 1971-1972. Then my family moved to NJ. I remember it to this day - Especially Mr. Morra in the basement orchestra room. Cool...

The 2003 reunion was magnificent. There are not enough words to say thanks to Rich for making this annual event possible. There was an oversight, I believe, in that the 55th anniversary of the class of '48 nor the 60th of '43 was acknowledged and there were members present.

It took me 37 years to finally come home to the school that molded my life, beliefs, etc. The reunion was one of the great experieces of my life. I hope we are able to have more than one reunion a year. As someone else stated "You can ever have enough Power reunions". Mr. Coppolino and the team that put the reunion together-"Thank you for a job well done" How about a reunion in Hilton Head, SC in the spring? May the Good Lord and his Blessed Mother bless each and everyone from Power Memorial.

I and my wife had a great time at the reunion Friday night. Great to finally connect real faces with some of the email folks on this board. You're all a great bunch! It was moving to see the class of '53 take a photo. Fantastic job, Rich Coppolino. Nice turnout from 1970. May we reach our 50th in '30!!!

The reunion was a tremendous success with about 300 alumni attending. Many thanks to Rich Coppolino for keeping the reunions going all of these years. It was great to see a strong showing from the class of '70.

Taught at Power from 74 to 80. While there I taught math and was moderator of the yearbook and color guard. Had great times and have fond memories of the school, students and faculty, especially the parties and dinners. Great band and remember the many parades.

Memories...memories... lazy by nature, I left at start of senior yr. 1962-3, having failed to do required summer work. I've spent the last 38 1/2 yrs playing with computers and telecomm. I am winding up 17 1/2 yrs with NYNEX/Bell Atlantic/Verizon, and am a tech. specialist planning on early retirement next month. Thanks to Mr. Holihan (soph & junior honors French) gained a love of France and finally got to Paris this past Memorial week with my wife of 27 yrs.

I thought that Power Memorial was just a distant memory, until I came across this website. What a great surprise and pleasure. Selling elevator passes, food fights in the cafeteria, wearing ties and selling chance-books for a new gym.
I look forward to everything on this website. Good luck and God Bless.

Compliments to all the men who put together the PMA Alumni Association -- had looked forward to seeing all at the Re-union.

The remains of the Irish Founder of Boys' Towns of Italy, Msgr. John Patrick Carroll-Abbing, will be transfered from outside of Rome and returned to a final resting place on the grounds of Boys' Town - all of this happens on Friday the 17th October.

Will be with you all in spirit.

POWER FOREVER !!!! I LOVE POWER.
I GREW UP IN DA BRONX AND ATTENDED ST RITA'S AND BLESSED SACRAMENT. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO PICK A HIGH SCHOOL I CHOSE POWER. EVERYBODY LOOKED AT ME LIKE WHAT YOUR NOT GOING TO HAYES? I SAID H*** NO I'M GOING TO POWER. WHY? BECAUSE I WAS A RUNNER AND I HAD HEARD THAT POWER HAD A GREAT TRACK PROGRAM. NOT ONLY IN BASKETBALL. I HAD HEARD THAT THIS SCHOOL NAMED POWER WAS A POWER HOUSE.
THANK YOU POWER MEMORIAL FOR SOME OF THE GREATEST TIMES IN MY LIFE.
HELLO TO ALL MY CLASSMATES... 1963 FRESHMAN CLASS.
